Complex AI architecture is worthless if it can’t be used clearly and efficiently. At wailand, we’re building an AI platform for industrial engineering—with agent-based systems, heterogeneous tool integrations, and complex data flows. As a Frontend Engineer, you build the layer that makes all of this visible, understandable, and controllable. You’re not building marketing pages. You’re building the interface for industrial intelligence. If you want to translate demanding backend and AI systems into fast, clear, and robust user interfaces, this is your role.
Your mission
You build the frontend of our AI platform—modular, scalable, and high-performance.
You work closely with backend, AI, and UX to make complex workflows intuitive.
You build data-intensive interfaces (streaming data, status models, agent interactions).
You create interactive visualizations for engineering data, process states, and system feedback.
You design a maintainable, scalable frontend architecture (state management, component structure, API layer).
You ensure performance, responsiveness, and stability—even with complex data volumes.
You think through accessibility, edge cases, and error states from the start.
You bring technical clarity to the interface between users and AI-driven systems.
What you bring
Several years of experience building modern web applications.
Strong skills in TypeScript and React (or comparable modern frameworks).
Experience with state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux, React Query).
Solid understanding of API design and backend integration (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).
Experience with component libraries and design systems.
You know how to structure large, modular frontend codebases.
You have a strong UX sense—even if you’re not a designer.
Ideally, experience with data-intensive or technical applications (B2B SaaS, engineering tools).
You think in systems, not just in views.
